What should I expect from Chinese Lantern Plants?

December 17th, 2008 | by admin |
Roger C asked:

I planted my Chinese Lantern Plants from seed around the end of August. They sprung up well and the leaves are now about 6 inches wide. However, the leaves are now turning yellow and the ones on the bottom are dying. Am I watering too much? Is this normal now that it is cold out? It’s around 50 degrees where I am now although the plants are still getting full sun a few hours a day. What do I do to save my plants?
