What Makes a Good Business?

It came as a welcome surprise to the Wish Lantern team that through the post came flooding a bout of letters from pupils at Littlehampton Community School, which all sang their praises, declaring enthusiastically and passionately how highly they regard the wish lantern business. They had been instructed by their teacher (and recent wish lantern customer)- a Mr Colin Langdon- to state why they each felt that the business was a successful one. This was clearly an exercise in recognising good business practice for these aspiring young students, but nevertheless it was encouraging to receive such an onslaught of unflinching positivity.
What each student, almost without exception, picked up on, was the keen attention and dedication to customer care. It is without question one of the most important elements of any business. To genuinely care or at the very least be seen to put the customer first is essential for attracting a loyal following in the first place. These days, the public are demanding more and more from the services they call upon, and are certainly not willing to throw money at something that refuses to meet their specific requirements. This is another reason why the wish lantern website stands out above and beyond other similar websites, It is willing to improvise to satisfy each individual customer. This is certainly not common practice amognst other companies (though it should be).
Hand in hand with customer care, is clear communication. The website is clear to navigate, and offers detailed pictures of the product in question. Viewers can see the wishlantern from all angles, both packaged, open, and in mid-flight, so that they know exactly what they are buying. With all this under their belts, it’s no wonder the wish lantern team were so highly praised.
