I found a recipe to make navel oranges into a jack o lantern bowl for fruit but, it doesn’t say how long before the peel will go yucky. The recipe calls for them to be cleaned out to the rind. I am wondering If I can do them the night before or if they have to be done the day of for and early evening function.

The day before no fruit spoils overnight unless it was half there already.
