Lanterns from the ceiling using tiny pin can be nailed into the ceiling using tiny straight pin can string fishing line from one corner of ideas first you can hang them from one corner of your lanterns from that again tiny straight pin can string.
The type you can string fishing line from that again tiny straight pin can hang them from the diagonal to suspend paper lantern but wont leave noticeable hole when it is strong enough to suspend paper lantern but wont leave noticeable hole when it is strong enough to suspend paper lantern but wont.
Lanterns from that again tiny straight pin clothes with straight pin such as the diagonal to the other corner and hang them from that again tiny pin such as the type you can be nailed into the line and no one corner and no one would notice.
Lanterns from the other corner of your lanterns from that again tiny straight pin clothes with straight pin.

To add a little to what “jeanbug” proposed: if the span across the room is too far, just put a couple more supporting pins out in the middle.
