Are the Colman propane lantern dangerous to use in a tent?

      Yes. They produce Carbon Monoxide and a lot of heat. Remember, they are burning something. If it is an open tent, then it is probably OK. If it has walls, better use electric. If the tent is nylon, it could be melted if it touches the lantern.
